Week 1: Creating Safety (Days 1–7)
Healing begins when the body feels safe.
Day 1:
Every morning take three slow, intentional breaths. As you breathe, name three things you are grateful for. You can do this while you make your morning coffee or fixing your hair. Just try to do this every morning before you get too busy. This simple grounding exercise helps bring your nervous system out of survival mode and back into the present moment.
